Black holes and Wormholes

What is inside a black hole?

So what do you think is inside the black hole, is it end or beginning, is it gate to another universe or nothing at all. How about another dimension or a loophole? We generally understand what happens outside a black hole as we arrive near its event horizon, point of no return. The same event horizon where the speed of matter increases than the speed of light(which is impossible for any matter). Calculation suggests that what lies inside the black hole depends upon the past of a particular black hole.

Theoretically, inside a black hole there's something known as singularity. So what is singularity? We will discuss this topic in depth in future blogs but for now, singularity is a point in space-time where laws of physics as we know break down. Many scientists believe that within that black hole and at the beginning of this universe this was what existed. Singularity is a point where the gravitational field becomes infinite, a point where space and time cease to hold their independent meaning. Luckily you wouldn't be alive till you reach inside. There are four types or stages of black holes, stellar, miniature, intermediate and supermassive.

Wormhole

As we are talking about black hole, there is one one more body known as a wormhole. The word wormhole was coined by physicist John Archibald Wheeler. A wormhole is basically a tunnel with two ends  in space-time but this tunnel is interesting. It may have another end open at a different time. It can be the answer to 'Is time travel possible?'. It can be a shortcut to another galaxy, it can solve the problem of long distance travelling.

Practically a wormhole can be imagined by taking a paper end joining it by ends and making hole through it, where paper represents space. Wormholes which can be crossed both ways is known as traversable wormholes. Wormholes might allow use to travel at speed less than speed of light.

How is a Wormhole detected?

Like blackhole, wormhole does not emit Hawking radiation so they cannot be detected easily, but it is not impossible to find them, physicist suggest that if there is a Wormhole with a end near a star with considerable amount of gravity then it would affect the planet on other side of wormhole so presence of wormhole can be detected by studying the small deviation in orbits of stars or planets.

Now, the wormhole is a sort of two way tunnel, Einstein called it a bridge, like blackholes no one has ever been into a wormhole. Wormhole can be a gate to reflection of our world or to another universe. If it opens at another point of time then it would be an endless loop and if it is open in another galaxy with habitable planets like earth or may be other species are already  waiting for us or someone may find us before we discover one. As said by Isaac Newton “All we know is drop, what we don’t know is an ocean”. There are many possibilities to be explored by mankind, now it's in the hands of the human race that they use the resources before they exploit them in making weapons for wars.

Many scientists,  space organisations are researching to establish and develop life on other planets.
